Influencing authorities for public policies to comply with economic, social and cultural rights (ESC rights), comes to ensure their actual implementation. Civil society organisations (CSOs) may rely on an extensive expertise in the development of strategies for ESC rights implementation, based on situations experienced by people.
This document was drafted within the framework of the economic, social and cultural rights methods exchange programme (“ESC Rights Action”) lead by Terre des Hommes France. It deals with methods to impact public policies followed by stakeholders with various practices, cultures and experiences from Brazil, India, Sri-lanka, Mexico, China, Cameroon, Mali and Senegal.
